Emily Monson, PT
Emily Monson is the clinic owner of a multi-site private practice physical therapy clinic in northwest Wisconsin. She received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2000. She has taken special interest in Industrial Rehabilitation clinically, diversifying her practice to include specialty management of the injured worker, developing onsite injury prevention consultation services with local industry, and gaining certification as an Industrial Rehabilitation Specialist. She is a member of the private practice section of the APTA and is serving a three year term as an Editorial Board Member for Impact Magazine. She has published articles specific to industrial rehabilitation services in 2010 and 2011. Emily's commitment to improved management of the injured worker has created a clinic environment that focuses on work specific rehabilitation. She collaborates directly with employers and case managers to assist with appropriate work return strategies, she specializes in job specific data collection for best simulation outcomes in the clinic environment, and is one of only a few area clinicians to offer Functional Capacity Evaluations.
