Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator
OccuPro offers the highest level of certification available within the specialized field of performing Functional Capacity Evaluations. Clinicians who specialize in the performance of these competitive testing procedures look to show their high level of skills, performance, and documentation abilities within this field. Clinicians earning certification through OccuPro have passed stringent criteria and have demonstrated a high level of ability within this field of return to work and disability evaluation.
Following the completion of OccuPro's Comprehensive Industrial Rehabilitation Training course or Functional Capacity Evaluation Training course clinicians may apply for certification following the completion of 15 FCE's. OccuPro's Director of Continuing Education will choose 5 of these FCE's which will be reviewed by 3 other Certified Functional Capacity Evaluators. Following the satisfaction of internationally recognized evaluation criteria evaluators will be deemed a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator.
A clinician may opt to forego the critique of other Certified Functional Capacity Evaluators and may submit the list of 15 completed evaluations and then participate in OccuPro's one day Advanced Functional Capacity Evaluation Training course. Following the completion of this course and 15 evaluations the clinician will be deemed a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator.
Clinicians performing other testing methodologies within the field of Functional Capacity testing may also apply for certification through OccuPro by requesting a certification packet, submitting a list of 15 completed FCE's, allowing other Certified Functional Capacity Evaluators to review 5 of their tests, pass the internationally recognized evaluation criteria or participate in OccuPro's Advanced Functional Capacity Evaluation Training Course.
