Our Office Ergonomic Evaluator Certification Course teaches you how to implement or enhance an ergonomic workstation. You will learn about proper computer ergonomic setups, including ergonomic computer chairs, keyboards and trays, the best ergonomic mouse, and desks. The instructor, who has 15+ years of experience, will discuss ergonomics in the workplace, teach common techniques and risk factors, and will show you how to implement a company wide program. Upon course completion, you may submit five evaluations to be reviewed and scored. If approved, you will earn your Office Ergonomic Evaluator Certification (COEE Certification).

Course Schedule

Day One:

  • Discuss various upper extremity and low back musculoskeletal disorders and evidence based causes
  • Perform an office ergo analysis using various assessment tools, postural design for VDT
  • Identify office risk factors (physical, environmental, psycho-physical, and psycho-social)
  • Overview of office engineering controls, administrative controls, training, and medical management
  • Make office job modifications (seating, seat design lighting, noise, keyboards, laptops, mouse, and report)
  • View various work stations and determine the risk factors/provide modification recommendations
