Our Work Hardening/Work Conditioning Training Course is designed for professionals looking to grow their return-to-work program and/or implement high level work hardening/work conditioning into their practice. Upon completing this training course, you will be able to perform work hardening/work conditioning evaluations, establish return-to-work goals, perform patient treatment planning, and much more!

Course Schedule

Day One:

  • Discuss the principles and differences of a work hardening program and work conditioning program
  • Learn to design and set up your WH/WC space
  • Discuss the importance of re-assessment during your program and making sure you document functional progress
  • Review the foundation of performing industrial rehab and how to perform these services at a high level
  • Learn the importance and how tos of performing a job demands analysis

Day Two:

  • Learn to evaluate job simulation and incorporate it into treatment
  • How to progress your patient from initial evaluation to return-to-work
  • How to work and progress the difficult patient from a multidisciplinary standpoint
  • Review a work hardening/conditioning evaluation
  • Create a treatment plan and determine weekly progression of your patient based on the evaluation
